This means that you can create an exact copy of your CD/DVD-ROM in your hard disk. With this image you can burn your files to another CD/DVD easily. It can be even easier when you use DVD Decrypter. If you'd like to rip a lot of DVDs, you may aslo want to check out DVD Copy Pro for this task.
DVD Decrypter is a freeware that can create ISO images from your CD/DVD or burn ISO images to your CD/DVD. You can download it at:http://www.dvddecrypter.org.uk/.
This article doesn't have the intent to teach you how to create illegal copies, it is just teaching you to create a backup of your own CDs/DVDs.
- Insert the CD/DVD you want to create the ISO in the drive.
- Run DVD Decrypter.
- Go to menu Mode.
- Select ISO and mark "Read."
- Select the source: the source is the drive you have inserted your CD/DVD into.
- Select the destination.
- In the save dialog box, choose the name you want to save the file as. The extension must be .ISO.
- Select "Decrypt" in the menu File or click on the image (a CD/DVD and an arrow pointing toward a hard drive) to start creating the ISO image.
- A sound indicates the end of the creation.
