5. Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them 2, 3, 4 and 5
After the critical success of the First part of Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them, the producers have already commenced working on it forthcoming sequels. At first, it was stated that the film would be a trilogy, but later J.K Rowling confirmed that the series would have five films. The filming of the 2nd film has already begun in July 2017. Jonney Depp will reprise his role as Gellert Grindelwald, and Jude Law has been cast for the role of Albus Dumbledore. The second part will release on 16 November, and the third part is set to release on 20 November 2020. The release date of other two films is not determined yet.
4. Fast & Furious 9 and 10
Fast & Furious is one of the biggest franchise among action movies and also has been entertaining the audience form almost two decades. Not just the producers, but the fans also don't want this franchise to end anytime soon, which is why Vin Diesel is soon coming up with the ninth and tenth instalments of this franchise. But there might be a surprise in these next films as Paul Walker's character Brian O'Conner might return. In September last year, both Caleb and Cody Walker revealed to Entertainment Tonight that their brother's character might return for another sequel. The ninth film would release on April 19, 2019, and Tenth will release on April 2, 2021.
3. Terminator: Genisys 2 and 3
Terminator Genisys staring Emila Clark fell flat at the box office, and after many speculations about its sequels finally, the makers have decided to complete the Genisys Trilogy. For next two movies, Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise his role as T-800, the old Terminator will be back. Linda Hamilton will return to reprise her character as Sarah Connor from the first two Terminator flicks replacing Emilia Clarke who portrayed the same role at a younger age. Part 2 will release in 2019 & release date of the 3rd part is not scheduled yet.
2. Mad Max: The Wasteland, 6 & 7
The reboot of Mad Max with Fury Road banged the box office as well as the mindset of the critics. It is very rare that an action film gets astonishing critical acclaim from the reviewers and audiences. 'Mad Max: Fury Road' was the finest and rarest blockbuster movie that fully delivered what it has promised so this time fans would have high expectations. The script of the 5th instalment is already completed, and the film is in development. It is also interesting that Tom Hardy will reprise his roles in all these three next chapters. The fifth part will hit the theatre next year.
1. Bond 25
Having 25 films in a franchise and tasting success for more than 50 years is a significant achievement. By continuing its legacy, the twenty-fifth film in the Bond franchise is set to come up next and has been named as Bond 25, celebrating its silver jubilee. The development of the movie started in early 2016. Daniel Craig is to reprise his role as James Bond. The film is scheduled to release on 8 November 2019.
