Now, Honda has introduced their latest CB 1300 series in their local market. Prices start at JYP 15,62,000 (INR 11.16 lakhs).
Features Of Honda CB 1300
The new Honda CB 1300 series includes four motorcycles, the CB 1300 Super Four, the CB 1300 Super Four SP, the CB 1300 Super Bold and the CB 1300 Super Bold SP. These share the same 1284cc inline four-cylinder engine.
It is a liquid-cooled unit featuring DOHC setup. It is tuned to produce a maximum power of 113 bhp at 7750 rpm.
The engine also develops 112 Nm of torque at 6250 rpm. The engine, which is mated to a six-speed gearbox, includes an assist and a slipper clutch.
Features of Honda CB 1300
Honda's new CB 1300 series has many interesting features. For example, all motorcycles are equipped with a full LED headlight with integrated LED DRLs.These include LED blinkers and LED tile lights. However Honda is moving forward with an old school analog instrument cluster.
It consists of two dials, one for speed and the other for rev. However, there is a small digital display between them that shows the bike's own information. Honda CB 1300 bikes come with heated grips and we believe it will be optional. The company also provides a USB socket.
The brand claims that the seats of motorcycles are designed to be the most comfortable even for long distance travel. Honda has focused on the small details. For example, 'L' shaped tire pressure valves are used to facilitate maintenance.
In the case of electronics, the CB 1300 series includes a ride-by-wire system that allows you to include three riding modes: Sport, Standard and Rain.Honda also gets selectable torque control. It can be switched off when not needed. Honda has also added a bi-directional quick shifter with cruise control.
Honda CB1300 Price and Availability
As we mentioned earlier, the new Honda CB 1300 Series JPY arrives at a starting price of 15,62,000 (INR 11.16 lakhs). This brings the JPY to 20,46,000, which translates to Rs 14.62 lakh in Indian currency.
Honda plans to sell 1,600 units of the new CB 1300 series in Japan. These motorcycles will initially be available only in the home country. However, in the next phase, Honda may introduce these to other international markets, but India is unlikely to be included.
